Bonneville SpeedWeek Course Condition Report
To All SpeedWeek Competitors: Updated

As previously noted the SCTA has been monitoring the weather and conditions at Bonneville. We received two reports from the salt in the last 24 hours. There was rain in the area yesterday and some dropped on the BSF. The good news is that the light rain created a few puddles and the courses still looked good. The forecast for the BSF is not showing any chance of rain before next week and that is noted for Monday only. Warm weather and light winds will help to dry the racecourses. There has been sporadic rain since then but nothing significant and the courses are holding up well. SCTA officials will start course conditioning Saturday August 2nd, 2014 and will start giving daily reports from the salt via our SCTA-BNI website and Facebook.

The new Bonneville Course Conditioner (commercial grade wheel packer) has arrived in Wendover and we will be putting it through its paces right away. We wish to thank a few great donors (most wishing to remain anonymous) that have stepped up to assist with the purchase of the new Bonneville Course Conditioner; your donations are very appreciated by the SCTA-BNI, USFRA and all of the BSF competitors.

See you at SpeedWeek!
